In Holy Scripture, a minister is anyone who follows Christ and acts upon that commitment using their gifts, talents and temperament. All are called. Our Prayer Book puts it this way:
"The ministry of lay persons is to represent Christ and his Church; to bear witness to him wherever they may be; and, according to the gifts given them, to carry on Christ's work of reconciliation in the world; and to take their place in the life, worship, and governance of the Church. (p. 855)"
In short, ministry is “All that I am with all that I have after I say, ‘I Believe.’”
To be the fullest expression of Christ, we are calling ministers to answer the call of Christ. Try one out – to see if it fits you or, for a season. You will be equipped and loved. Some require training in safety with children and adults.

Each Sunday, volunteers help in in each of our services to worship together through the liturgy. Roles like Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Acolyte, and Usher are not only vital to our Sunday worship, but a great place to build community!
10:15–10:50 a.m. on Sundays during the school year. You will work with a team with provided materials. There is no prior experience needed, you will not need to be there every Sunday, and you’ll get to learn more about God and the bible!
10:15–10:50 a.m. on Sundays during the school year. You will work with a team setting up the children’s large group time with supplied materials. This is not an every Sunday commitment and no prior experience is necessary.
The choir sings at the 11 a.m. worship service. All you need is a desire to sing and be led by the Choir Director. This is a position that serves regularly but can pick some Sundays off. If you love community and love to sing, this is for you!
Our Youth Ministry meets Sunday evenings during the school year. There is no special knowledge needed to volunteer, just a willingness to serve! This is not an every Sunday commitment.
Acolytes assist priests during worship services. All ages are welcome and training is provided. Acolytes usually serve once a month or more if they want!
Greeters are needed at all Sunday services. They greet everyone at the walkway who comes to worship and help visitors connect with parishioners. If you are a people person, this is for you!
