SUNDAY MORNINGS

Theologies of Play: A Lenten Sunday Series will be held every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. in Margaret's Parlor. It is easy to absorb messages from society that say play is only for children and not for adults, but play is vital for a fulfilling life for people of all ages. We may lose touch with play as we grow older, but it is essential to how we interact as human beings. Play can take all shapes and forms: sports, the arts, game - but what is play? What do theologians have to say about play? What might it look like to integrate play into one’s spiritual life? These questions will be explored through in-class readings, discussion, and interactive games and exercises. For more information, contact the Rev. Will Parker.
