Give the gift of life at St. Mark's on May 19 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Reeder Gym.
Join us Sunday, April 21, beginning at 9 a.m. in Hauser Hall, to make lunches for Houston’s hungry children. All ages are welcome. For our younger volunteers, we will have art supplies to decorate lunch bags. We ask that those who have longer hair to please wear a hat or head covering.
The St. Mark's Episcopal Church Choir will be joined by the St. Mark's Episcopal School Middle School Choir for an evening of music in the tradition of choral evensong to celebrate the feast day of St. Mark.
What could happen if barriers dissolved, preconceptions faded, and only the art and its message remained center stage? "The Concert for the Human Family" is born from such a vision: a collaboration of award-winning musicians like Kory Caudill and Wordsmith, who unite their diverse talents to manifest the Beloved Community. Dive into a mesmerizing musical tapestry that seamlessly blends jazz, hip-hop, classical, rock and bluegrass, created by a multicultural ensemble under the direction of one of the world's premiere pianists. Each note, lyric, and melody intertwines with sacred narratives, catalyzing discussions centered around reconciliation, healing, and justice, inviting us to reflect on and connect with the essence of our shared humanity.
Tickets are available through the link below. The event is free with a suggested donation of $25. Proceeds will go to St. Mark's community partners and Saint George's College Jerusalem.
Come join us this summer in Wonder as we explore some of Jesus' most amazing miracles. We'll learn about how Jesus feeds, heals, changes, and calms in the Gospels, and how those miracles are still happening today! We will gather in Hauser Hall Monday, July 22, through Thursday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to noon for games, lessons, music, art, and fun. VBS registration is now open for students who are rising Pre-K 4 through rising 5th grade. Please register to ensure you child's spot!
