Blessing of the Animals - Sunday, October 4, at 5 p.m.

As a community of faith, we set our hearts and minds on the blessings in our lives and ask how God is calling us to respond with our offerings of our gifts of time, talent, and treasure to sustain and nurture the mission and ministries of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. God has created us to thrive with a generous spirit, wherever that leads us.
Many within our parish may not realize a simple, vital truth: every resource that sustains our mission—the passionate people active in our ministries and the financial foundation that supports our work and worship
—comes directly from each and every one of us. Each year, we make an intentional commitment to be Christ’s hands, feet, and heart in our community. When you share your gift of service, teach Sunday school, serve in worship, or make a financial pledge, your contribution breathes life into everything we do.
As we look ahead to the coming year, we ask you to prayerfully consider your commitment to St. Mark’s:
Reflect with gratitude on what this community means to you and those close to you.
Pray about how God is inviting you to share your gifts of time, talent, and treasure.
Commit with joy to share some of your gifts with St. Mark’s as God directs you. How might your gifts be best expressed here?
Enclosed is your pledge card for 2027. We invite you to join us on Ingathering Sunday, November 1, at all services as we bless our pledges and celebrate our volunteers with lunch after a combined 10 a.m. worship service.
If you have pledged in the past, please do so again. Consider working towards a tithe (10%).
If you regularly give without a pledge, consider pledging. It helps us to plan our ministries.
If you have not considered financial support or volunteering, please consider doing so.
Have questions? Visit our Help Desk on the front porch before or after worship. Thank you for your faithful presence, your deep generosity, and your love for St. Mark’s. Together, we are the living body of Christ in this place.
Faithfully yours in Christ,
The Rev. Jim Liberatore
Interim Rector

Your pledge is a promised total gift over the year of 2027 that helps St. Mark’s continue to grow its mission to love, to learn, to worship, and to serve as a joyful Christian family. St. Mark’s Church relies on the generosity of members and friends to sustain its ministries.
Give by bank draft, submitting a direct drafting form authorizing St. Mark’s to initiate pre-authorized withdrawals from your checking or savings account. With this option, no processing fees are incurred.
Give by paper check, placed in the offering plate or mailed to the church office.
Give by credit card or ACH through our website (Giving tab) or MinistryOne app. You may make a one-time gift or choose to give quarterly, monthly, or weekly. This option is actively managed by the giver. Example: the giver inputs and updates the amount, credit card number, expiration date, or bank information.
Give by making a stock gift. Please contact Kim Thoss, Director of Finance, for instructions.
