the women of the parish in a program of worship, study, service and fellowship.
With many opportunities to volunteer, we strive to better our community while having fun. There are no dues or financial obligation required--only a willingness to meet people and participate!
For nearly 30 years beginning in the late 1950's, the Women of St. Mark's operated the Bargain Counter as an ongoing fundraiser. It is this successful endeavor, and our varied events, investments, and fundraising activities that allows our organization to continue to support several local organizations with yearly outreach grants.
This ministry provides meals to St. Mark's families in any kind of life transition. This could include being displaced because of natural disasters like Harvey, a new baby, a recent hospitalization or injury, or a death in the family. If you find yourself in need of comfort food or would like to volunteer to provide a meal, please reach out to Stephanie Morrison, Comfort Food Coordinator.
Welcome to St. Mark’s! We are thrilled that you're interested in learning more about our church. Since 1939, St. Mark’s has ministered to the people of Houston. Located in the West Houston/ Bellaire area, we are a diverse, inclusive community who seeks to love God, and love our neighbors. We hope you’ll join us in worship in one of the four worship services we offer on Sunday—7:45 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 5 p.m. If you have any questions about who we are or what we are about, don’t hesitate to call or email our church office. We look forward to welcoming you into our community.
We would like to extend an open invitation to our church and school families to join us for a wonderful weekend of fun, fellowship, and relaxation at our diocesan retreat center. This beautiful campus has 1,100 acres and includes a formal hotel, two lakes, miles of trails, sports courts, shooting range and much more!
To make your weekend enjoyable for all, families will be provided full childcare services throughout the day Saturday at no added fee, allowing parents to enjoy the seclusion of Camp Allen while keeping the kids entertained and safe.

Our campaign meets the most urgent priorities in our sacred spaces, increases our financial security, and continues to help our community members in need. Embarking upon this journey is a decision culminating from years of research and prayer.
Because St. Mark’s Church relies on the generosity of members and friends to sustain its ministries, pledges of gifts for the coming year are critical in planning the Church’s budget. Your gift will continue to grow the four pillars of our church life: worship, service, connection, and formation.
Join us for Adult Education every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. (starting again in the fall) in the Flex Space. For more information on the classes, please contact David Goldberg.
I invite you to renew your commitment to the common ministry of St. Mark’s Church. Your pledged gift is more than a financial contribution; it represents a dedication of your earthly resources to God’s divine mission. This mission is entrusted to us and is to foster a joyful place of worship, provide a hospitable space for people to connect with one another and God, to serve our community with the talents and abilities God has given us, and share the good news of Jesus Christ with all of God’s people.
Your support is vital to our mission. I encourage you to join us in making a generous investment in the work of St. Mark’s for 2025.
Faithfully,
The Rev. Patrick J. Miller
