St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is pleased to announce the revival of its beloved Lenten Concert Series, “Songs of Love & Redemption: Texas Singer Songwriter Concert Series.” This spring, the church has added an additional component by partnering with five charities. Over the course of Lent, the six-week season during which Christians all over the world enter into a time of deep reflection, St. Mark’s welcomes internationally celebrated musical artists to perform. Each artist is paired with a local charity, which will offer attendees information on how to support their work. “Music speaks to the soul,” says St. Mark’s Rector, the Rev. Patrick Miller, “and our community needs the opportunity to experience this special music, now more than ever.” All concerts will be free of charge, and open to the public. Concertgoers are encouraged to stay for refreshments and fellowship after the concerts. Doors at 6 p.m., and showtime at 7 p.m. Contact Cameron Hammon with questions.
