Dinner & Auction- 7:00 p.m.
“For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was naked and you gave me clothing. I was a stranger and you gave me welcome. I was sick and you took care of me. I was in prison and you came to visit me.” (Matthew 25:35-36)
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church hosts an annual Have a Heart dinner to raise much needed funds for area charities. The event typically features a seated dinner, beverage service, silent auction, and music. In keeping with Christ’s directive to care for the “least of these”, St. Mark’s donates proceeds from the event to groups dedicated to addressing hunger, homelessness, clothing and medical needs, and the impact of incarceration in the community.
The 2017 recipients are Christian Community Service Center, Lord of the Streets, Kids’ Meals, and Hospitality Apartments.
RSVP below no later than February 3, 2017.
